As part of expanding the Digital and Technology organization, we are building a team of DevOps tooling engineers who can drive engineering effectiveness across our product engineering teams. We seek DevOps tool engineers for all our tool stack, with various levels of experience.
Responsibilities
What you will be working on
- One of our key focus points in 2024 is improving observability and monitoring, expectation is that you will take on an ambassador/consultant role and assist application teams through providing advice and helping them hands-on
- Implementing pipelines to automatically build, test and deploy with Azure DevOps, GitHub actions and similar
- Automate functional/performance tests with tools such as Postman
- Research and compare tools (for example a task could be to compare AI assisted coding tooling such as self-hosted llame2 vs copilot)
- Develop pipelines and/or self-service portals to automate common admin tasks
How we are working
- You will join a small international agile team in which all have a voice on the direction
- We start our sprints with a planning session, have daily scrum meetings and conclude the sprint with a demo in which we celebrate our achievements
- We work in an environment where not everything is defined up front but where we learn as we go (you are curious and eager to learn)
- We support many application teams across the company, you are collaborative and good at maintaining a positive relationship with our partner teams
Skills Required
You may have experience with some of the following tools:
- Observability and monitoring: New Relic, OpsGenie
- Platform: Azure cloud (Azure functions, Kubernetes, VM management, network)
- CI/CD: GitHub (Actions), GitLab, Azure DevOps
- Infrastructure as code: Helm, Terraform
- Testing: Postman
- Self-service portals: Node, Javascript, Typescript, Go, Python
But above all, you are a curious person that likes to try out and learn about different technologies. We are always evaluating what we use to improve our work.
