Project Description

Zoolatech is starting an engagement with the new client, a B2B marketplace for social enterprise product procurement in the United States.

From engineering standpoint their goal is to completely replace the current Laravel site through the re-platform effort. This effort, however, is going to take 4-6 months to complete, and during this time, we need to continue to evolve current shop site. The above all needs to happen concurrently while the re-platform work is happening.

One that completes, we will decommission the legacy site, and move forward with the new site. Once this happens, we can focus on the net-new sides of the business like building integration platform.

Responsibilities

Zoolatech is going to be an engineering arm for the business of the client. You will have a chance to make a real difference by helping small social businesses to find their big clients and grow their business.

• Support and evolve legacy Laravel PHP site until existing re-platform effort is completed.
• CICD DevOps Automations across multiple projects and dependencies
• Design, architect and build with best practices a SaaS foundation for connecting our partners and vendors
• Design architect and build partner integrations
• Feature development and bug fixing

Skills Required

Must have:

• Team leadership 2+ years
• Java 8+ years
• PHP 1+ years
• CI/CD automation
• Cloud, preferable AWS
• System design experience
  
  

Nice to have:

• Laravel
• Kotlin

Location — Ukraine

Preferred / Allowed work schedule — Flexible, some shift towards evening to meet with clients

• Legacy: PHP (Laravel), Shopify
