Reporting Specialist manages, designs, implements, processes, and maintains business intelligence reporting solutions to assist with network design and implementation to service our members. Presents analysis results/recommendations to management in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner. The position is also responsible for managing the information technology systems.

— Two-year related experience in a reporting and analytic role utilizing enterprise reporting tools (CRM, SQL, SQL Reporting Services, Business Objects, ODBC, MS Access, and MS Excel and/or equivalent data capture/reporting tools)
— Intermediate English or higher
— Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
— Creativity and strong attention to detail
— Self-starter with a proven ability to take ownership of job responsibilities and ensure successful completion of all projects and requests
— Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, including executive and senior management teams
— Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in high volume workload situations
— Possess the skill to creatively solve problems and propose solutions with minimal direction
— Proven ability to capture and document end-user requirements; demonstrated project management skills
— Strong interpersonal/customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others; demonstrated collaborative skills
— Able to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast paced setting, willing to take on new projects and be flexible
— Design reports for performance, data quality, and simplicity/maintainability, and articulate trade-offs as appropriate
— Practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets and graphs
— Considerable exposure to the operation and analysis of relational database software and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies
— Strong technical skills including the ability to merge data from various sources, write formulas to summarize data, translate data into a user-friendly reports, and data mine for necessary drill-down metrics
— Excellent design skills; conceptualize complex data flows/transformations and translate into step sequences that can be implemented using ETL tools
— Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel (VlookUps, Power Pivot, formulas, etc.)
— Complete understanding of financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Profit/Loss Statements and Cash Flow Statements

— Create and coordinate the preparation and release of financial, product and management reports
— Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing report procedures and systems and develop strategies for enhancing or leveraging these processes and systems
— Work directly with decision makers and end users to understand, define, and document current and possible future reporting goals, needs, and requirements
— Responsible for mock up, development, implementation, and training of internal customer requested reporting needs
— Develop, coordinate distribution, and maintain reporting templates to report financial and operational information
— Retrieve and utilize information from the accounting system and other data sources and, when necessary, recommend and manage the development and implementation of ETL processes
— Design, develop, publish, and maintain management dashboards
— Research and recommend key performance indicators in order to provide better intelligence in reporting
— Identify automation and process improvement ideas and implement
— Write and maintain processes related to all standard reporting
