Your expertise:
- Technical communication skills
- *nix and Windows experience
- Advanced knowledge of BIOS / RAID configuration
- Experience in switch ports configuration (Juniper, Brocade, Cisco)
- Knowledge of the following technologies and protocols: DHCP, VLAN, SNMP, TFTP
- Pre-intermediate or higher level of written and verbal English
- Must be able to independently manage time and reprioritize tasks as necessary while ensuring critical deadlines are met.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure

You will be involved into:
- Test and configure new equipment:
- run stress tests to verify the functionality and integrity of servers
- review test results and analyze the equipment health
- configure and test various power devices (PDU / ATS)
- configure ports on different networking devices
- advise on physical characteristics of server hardware and related components
- initial Operating System with the basic configuration installation
- Prepare, setup and release hosting (dedicated, shared, VPS) servers to clients
- Perform various system level reliability analyses for multiple projects, review these analyses and generate relevant documentation in accordance with Namecheap procedures
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Collaborate with the onsite personnel of various datacenters to remotely diagnose and troubleshoot and to determine tasks for fixing issues with Namecheap Infrastructure
- Collaborate with the involved team(s) regarding broken equipment troubleshoot & to determine tasks for fixing it, ensuring efficient equipment delivery to the respective service owners
- Coordinate HW upgrades with the involved teams, minimizing equipment / service downtime
- Install, configure, test and maintain HW management applications
- Test and maintain firmware on different hardware components
- Assist DCOPS team with different kind of scripts / module testing and give a user-friendly output
- Be an escalation POC for any issues related to automatic provisioning systems
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, etc.
- Produce and maintain effective and meaningful documentation for technical issues
- Present prepared materials to a variety of internal audiences
- Deliver weekly updates on status of current tickets, open issues and projects
