Your expertise:
- Deep understanding how email services work (such as Dovecot, Postfix)
- Deep understanding of email protocols (IMAP, Pop, SMTP, JMAP, ActiveSync etc.), all current best practices and techniques
- Strong Linux administration background with 5+ years
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- DNS understanding
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with at least one of the programming or scripting languages (preferably Python, Bash)
- Strong understanding of network stack
- Good analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of monitoring principles and experience in using application & infrastructure monitoring tools (such as Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus)
- Experience with high availability and fault tolerance (HAProxy, keepalived etc.)
- Revision control system — Git
Will definitely be a plus:
- Experience with Open-Exchange
- Experience with Anti-Spam techniques
- Experience with Kubernetes and CI / CD process
- Understanding of IaC (Terraform)
- Knowledge of Proxmox hypervisor
- Experience with Logging and Management Systems (ELK)
