Your expertise:

  • You’re an advanced Linux user with Shell know-how, and a basic understanding of web-stack in general
  • You’re good at hardware troubleshooting, i.e., you know how to detect issues with RAM on PC start, how to check HDD state, etc.)
  • An intermediate level of written English
  • Minimum 1,5 years of experience as a system administrator
  • Knowledge of LAMP stacks, including the installation and configuration aspects
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of Email and DNS principles
  • Familiarity with MySQL
  • Fundamental knowledge in Networking Technologies; specifically, on:
    • Understanding of OSI Model, TCP / IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP)
    • IP addressing and subnetting, Routing concepts
  • Self-learner, growth-focused, and team player attitude

Will definitely be a plus:

  • Academic education in the IT field would be an asset
  • Scripting / automation (Unix shell, Python, Perl, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of load balancing, high availability, and fault tolerance clusters
  • Know-how on IT security basics
  • Basic understanding of DDoS attacks and their mitigation
  • Basic Virtualization experience (KVM, VMware, Xen)
  • Basic containerization experience: LXC, Docker
  • Basic Experience in hosting control panels (cPanel, Plesk, ISP system, etc.)

You will be involved into:

Are you excited about resolving various technical matters promptly to meet and exceed customer expectations? If you’re in, you’ll be responding to technical issues via instant chat, Jira, or our monitoring tools either to fix in-time tickets or to prevent service outage. Reporting directly to the TechOps Shift Leader, you’ll be:

  • Building, maintaining, and monitoring infrastructure servers and services, to keep their performance and stability on the highest level
  • Troubleshooting and investigating global technical issues that our internal systems / servers may have
  • Performing requests from other departments: Technical Support, Customer Support, Legal and Abuse Teams
  • Developing and maintaining in-depth product knowledge as well as knowledge of technologies you work with
  • Optimizing technical processes/procedures to make them more efficient both for clients and the team
  • Sharing technical knowledge with Customer Support and Technical Support representatives to help them develop and grow in the technical area to join the Technical Operations team
  • Develop yourself continuously in Technical Know-How and English communication skills
