Full-Stack WordPress/CMS Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We’re looking for a skilled and adaptable WordPress/CMS Engineer with solid experience in website development.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and manage websites using WordPress;
• Partner with our design team to advise on the technical viability of their ideas;
• Supporting and owning the development of WordPress websites;
• Supporting the launch of landing pages and multi-variate tests;
• Create WordPress plug-ins and themes;
• Troubleshoot and resolve website problems for clients and co-workers;
• Collaborate with a distributed team to define project requirements and deliverables;
• Provide accurate project estimates and work towards meeting deadlines;
• Maintain clear documentation for project configurations, workflows, and best practices.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with WordPress (WooCommerce, Gutenberg, Custom themes and Plugins), JavaScript (VanillaJS, React), CSS (Preprocessors, Modern CSS features), PHP (OOP programming, API etc);
• Able to do full-stack development;
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial);
• Proficient with CSS;
• Proficient in creating custom websites from scratch;
• Solid understanding of WordPress security best practices (malware prevention, secure configurations, etc.);
• Good knowledge of CMS systems and database management;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently;
• Experience with email configuration (SMTP) and troubleshooting;
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills.

Preferred (nice to have) qualifications:

• Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization;
• Experience integrating third-party tools and APIs;
• Knowledge of Headless CMS technologies and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
