We are seeking a Strong Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in developing e-commerce solutions using Shopify. You will collaborate with a distributed team to deliver high-quality projects. This role involves both front-end and back-end development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Shopify-based e-commerce solutions.
• Collaborate with a distributed team to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Provide accurate project estimates and work towards meeting those timelines.
• Develop both front-end and back-end features and functionalities.
• Optimize existing Shopify stores for performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify implementations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Communicate effectively in English with team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of proven experience in Shopify development.
• Experience with Shopify 2.0 and Slate.
• Ability to create templates using JSON and/or Liquid.
• Strong knowledge about B2B theme development and limitations.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Shopify’s templating language.
• Strong back-end development skills with experience in Shopify’s API, custom app development, and third-party integrations.
• Ability to estimate project timelines and deliver work according to those estimates.
• Collaboration skills, with experience working in a distributed team environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Custom Checkout Extensibility.
• Experience with Hydrogen and Oxygen.
• Experience with a headless approach.
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.
• Understanding of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques for Shopify stores.
• Ability to understand and accommodate client wishes.
