We as human beings naturally hate following the process. BUT it is very important to follow it and finish each step before a jump to another step. Process Facilitator is a person who drives “team dynamics” and makes sure that everyone within the team has been “heard”, “understood” and has had an opportunity to “say”. Moreover, this role is pretty much about coaching and overseeing the “follow the process” paradigm: it’s crucial to encourage and help the team to stick to the framework & rules that this team has chosen and agreed about from the start.

Responsibilities:
Manage and improve the process for the squads
Manages team discussion in order to increase alignment, make team walk the talk and boost team efficiency
Analyze data (feedbacks, dashboards and etc) to find insights for further process optimization, squad members engagement, alignment between squads
Drive “team dynamics” across the squad which includes:
Define the clear purpose and define success (or outcome)
Clarify roles and responsibilities for the concrete tasks
Establish norms that foster psychological safety
Establish clear decision-making processes
Manage team conflict
Facilitate availability, understanding, and agreement around GRIP within in the squad. GRIP stands for Goals, Roles, Interpersonal Relationships and Processes
Taking care that “P” in place, continuous improvement and resolving P-related issues
Evangelize process facilitation across the squad on a daily basis
Contribute ideas against defined objectives of the squad and the guild
Facilitate the implementation of the process in the squad (directly/non-directly)
Seek new process improvements within the squad
Contribute to the creation of Process and Facilitation expertise at FigLeaf
Teach squad team members around Process, facilitation and its importance
Maintain and update Process and Facilitation knowledge base
Improve KPIs of the squad through process improvement
