Minimum qualifications:

— Master’s degree in Law or equivalent practical experience.
— Advanced English (at least B2-C1).
— Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, with strong intellectual property law and technology transactions background.

Preferred qualifications & skills:

— Experience in US/UK commercial law and contracts, IT law.
— Knowledge of and familiarity with laws and regulations applicable to e-commerce.
— Knowledge of and familiarity with laws and regulations impacting payments and financial services.
— Experience of advising on data protection issues.
— Initiative and willingness to work in a start-up environment.
— Problem-solving and business-focused attitude.

Responsibilities:

— Facilitate a range of agreements with customers and partners throughout the US, Latin America, and Eastern Europe.
— Draft and maintain templates that comply with company policies and local laws.
— Draft and revise the company’s internal policies, guidelines, and other documents.
— Support day-to-day legal activities and operations of the company.
— Consult on marketing initiatives.
— Advise on legal issues and risks (analyze potential legal risks in the company’s jurisdictions of operations — US, EU, Latin America, Ukraine).
— Conduct legal research.
— Monitor legislation changes and provide recommendations on their application.
