|Hey, I’m Andri Didych, data team lead at YouScan, |
and I’m looking for a technical support engineer to help us collect more data from the Internet.
We’re responsible for collecting, structuring and storing huge amounts of data,
100M+ new mentions in social media daily.
We’re also in charge of adding new sources to our crawling and looking to some one who’ll help us build a better process there.
YouScan.io is a social media listening solution,
that gives businesses the ability to become better by listening to their customers.
We’re a Ukrainian product company with a strong internal culture.
Each year we double our social media coverage, so we’re always looking for for a professional to join our Data team in the Kyiv office.
You will be the first line of technical support to work with coverage problems reported by our clients. We have some instruments ready for help, and you’re welcome to suggest new ones that will help you better answer technical questions.
You will also structure and prioritize lists of requests for new sources and proactively work on the lists important for the industries we’re primarily focusing on.
Quality assessment of existing coverage, we also appreciate suggestions of tools here.
And finally, you’ll use our internal tools to extend our coverage by working with prioritized lists.
First of all, we’re looking for a real teammate with a positive mindset — we want you to communicate, share your vision, bring in your own ideas. We also want you to listen and hear other points of view, be able to look with other person’s eyes.
It would be great if you have experience as tech support, dealing with clients, partners, and suppliers. And, of course, your English should be good enough for business correspondence.
From a technical perspective, we expect you to know HTML/CSS basics and how to work with Chrome dev tools and one of fiddler/postman/curl.
— We will pay for your professional development — conferences, courses, books etc.
— You will be able to work remotely occasionally
— Unlimited vacation (yeah, really)
