Requirements:
— 2+ years of experience developing using Ruby and RubyOnRails
— Experience using RubyOnRails 5+ and Ruby 3
— Solid understanding of relational databases and Postgresql in particular
— Be able to write SQL when ActiveRecord is not enough
— Ability to design and build REST API using Rails
— Ability to design a DB schema according to the project requirements
— Experience writing automated tests using Rspec and strive for a 100% test coverage
— Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
— Comfortable using the terminal in Linux\MacOS
— Experience using version control systems (git), CI\CD systems
— The initiative. Be able to communicate with the team and to propose the best solution for the problem
— Upper-intermediate level of English

Will be a plus:
— Experience with any of major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean etc), using their services and setting up the app deployment processes there
— Experience in a programming language other than Ruby: JS, Python
— Experience integrating Stripe, Twilio
— Have used Sidekiq/Resque/SuckerPunch and Redis before, have practical skills of setting them up and using them

Responsibilities:
— Design, develop, and maintain reliable systems in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
— Identify bottlenecks and bugs, find solutions to these problems.
— Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
— Develop new system features, optimize existing ones, and maintain our existing applications.
— Collaborate with product, design, and other developers on discussing and developing new features.
— Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback
