Compliance Consultant (ISO 9001)

A technology manufacturing company needs an ISO 9001:2015 consultant to guide them through full QMS readiness — from gap assessment to certification-ready state. Freelance, hourly-billed.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a gap analysis against ISO 9001:2015 and build a readiness roadmap;
• Develop QMS documentation: quality manual, SOPs, process maps, work instructions;
• Design document control, internal audit, and corrective action (NCR) processes;
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and coach internal quality owners;
• Prepare the organization for Stage 1 and Stage 2 certification audits.

Requirements:

• 3–6 years implementing or auditing ISO 9001:2015 QMS;
• Background in manufacturing environments — understanding production processes, quality gates, and supply chain controls;
• Basic familiarity with software and hardware device development (e.g., embedded systems, IoT, or similar product development cycles);
• Track record of producing audit-ready documentation packages;
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor cert (CQI/IRCA or equivalent) preferred.
