Junior Java Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Junior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable backend systems. You will work closely with senior engineers, QA specialists, and product stakeholders to build high-quality, reliable software solutions.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of commercial experience with Java;
• Strong knowledge of Core Java (collections, streams, OOP principles, exceptions, multithreading basics);
• Understanding of Spring Framework / Spring Boot;
• Experience with REST API development;
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
• Familiarity with JPA/Hibernate;
• Understanding of SQL fundamentals;
• Experience with Git;
• Basic understanding of build tools (Maven or Gradle);
• Knowledge of unit testing (JUnit, Mockito);
• Understanding of HTTP protocol;
• English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Responsibilities:

• Development and support of backend services using Java and Spring Boot;
• Implementation of business logic and database interactions;
• Integration with third-party APIs and internal microservices;
• Writing unit and integration tests;
• Working with transactional data and ensuring data consistency;
