We’re looking for a Python Developer to join our team and help us build a high-quality, data-driven healthcare product that makes a real impact. You’ll work with modern technologies, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute to creating reliable backend solutions that scale and support better patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in analysing and developing appropriate solutions to respond to customer needs on a specific roadmap.
- Collaborating with other developers and product managers to execute objectives.
- Develop solid unit and integration tests.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience developing with Python and Flask or similar web frameworks.
- At least 2 years of experience with PostgreSQL, including advanced features (JSONB, arrays, enums, triggers, pgvector and pgcrypto extensions).
- Experience with asynchronous Python (asyncio, async/await) and async libraries such as SQLAlchemy async, httpx, or aiohttp.
- Experience with SQLAlchemy 2.x ORM (declarative models, relationships, migrations with Alembic).
- Familiarity with Pydantic for data validation and serialization.
- Experience with task queues and background processing (Celery, APScheduler, or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud tools (AWS preferred — S3, Lambda, KMS, ECS).
- Understanding of REST API design and authentication patterns (JWT, SSO, OAuth).
- Experience writing tests with pytest, including async tests, mocking, and factory-based test data.
- A strong interest in technology.
- Commitment to continuous learning.
- Strong intermediate level of English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with AI/LLM integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini) or agent frameworks (pydantic-ai).
- Experience with vector databases or embeddings (pgvector).
- Familiarity with real-time communication (WebSockets / Socket.IO ).
- Experience with data encryption patterns and key management (AWS KMS, pgcrypto).
- Familiarity with Redis for caching, message brokering, or pub/sub.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, structured logging).
- Experience with Azure AD / Microsoft Graph API integrations.
