Business Analyst (Presales)

About the role
We are looking for a Business Analyst for Presales to strengthen our presales and discovery capabilities. In this role, you will work closely with Sales and Solution Architects to translate early client needs into structured scopes, clear documentation, and persuasive client-facing narratives. Our projects vary, with a primary focus on IoT initiatives across Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Industrial domains.

Responsibilities

  • Lead presales discovery activities: stakeholder interviews, workshops, requirements clarification, and alignment on goals and constraints.
  • Perform hands-on product/service decomposition: turn a concept into a clear scope, key features, and requirement groups.
  • Produce a strong set of presales BA artifacts, including: problem statement, objectives, success criteria, scope / out of scope, high-level functional requirements, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, risks, business-related artifacts, user/process workflows, functional decompositions, clear, lightweight visuals (as needed) to support alignment and communication
  • Support estimation and proposal preparation by ensuring the team has sufficient clarity and consistency across inputs.
  • Contribute to client pitching and Q&A: present findings, explain assumptions, and communicate scope confidently to stakeholders.
  • Post-sale Discovery — define the Release 1 scope and the detailed Sprint 1 scope, produce required BA artifacts, and support project team staffing.

Requirements

Must-have

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on presales and client-facing work.
  • Strong hands-on decomposition skills and the ability to quickly structure complex or vague requests.
  • Ability to produce high-quality, client-ready documentation under tight timelines.
  • Able to manage a high workload and multiple parallel presales streams within tight deadlines.
  • Solid communication and facilitation skills (workshops, interviews, alignment sessions).
  • Confident presentation skills and experience participating in client pitches.
  • Upper-Intermediate or above English.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with IoT-related projects.
  • Domain experience in Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Industrial.
  • Experience working in cross-functional presales teams (Sales + Architecture + Delivery stakeholders).
