Research Data Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

Currently, we are looking for a research data engineer with experience in building and maintaining efficient scientific data pipelines.

Our client is a New York-based healthcare organization that owns and operates a chain of academic medical centres offering emergency and virtual urgent care services.

This is a hands-on development role responsible for the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of the products built/configured for the research community and used across the client’s Health system.

Responsibilities:

• Work cross-functionally as a strategic partner to define priorities and develop project roadmaps in synergy with partner teams. Build consensus and earn a commitment from partners. Drive execution through fast iteration.
• Ensure coordination of their and others’ projects across related workflows, to maximise impact and avoid duplication and overlaps.
• Employ languages and tools like Python, R, SQL, and others to drive efficient data exploration and modelling.
• Generalise methodologies for broader applications within and outside their domain.
• Research, patterns identification and formulating insights;

These will help you do the job:

• Experience of work with scientific data pipelines, their creation and maintenance
• Good knowledge of Python programming language;
• Experience developing production software systems such as data pipelines deployed machine learning models, or dashboards
• Experience with statistical methods such as forecasting, time series, hypothesis testing, classification, clustering or regression analysis
• Can effectively set and communicate priorities;
• Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance
