Java Software Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

Wix is looking for a Data Services specialist to help us to build a platform that will allow to discover, analyze and interpret crucial insights from our data, and propose ways to improve the way we create and market our products.

Responsibilities:

Together with a group of talented experts, the developer will directly participate in the design and development process of software components as part of a large-scale system working with Java 8, Scala, Presto, Storm, HBase and Hadoop technologies on Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services.

Minimum qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience using Java server-side technologies in Web environment
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science
Ability to work independently and effectively under time pressure and dynamic multi-task environment, with context changes
Fast, energetic, diligent, highly motivated with open mind and self-learner
Service oriented and team player

Bonus points:

Experience with Hadoop platform
Familiar with Scala
Experience with large data sets in a production environment
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
Experience with Google Cloud or AWS.
