Job Description

As an Automation QA Engineer in our Point of Sale Solution team, you will work in a dynamic environment where innovation meets functionality. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality testing solutions that seamlessly integrate with third-party devices, with a specific focus on Android native mobile apps. During your day-to-day, you will:

• Improve and maintain our existing automation framework
• Develop, execute, and maintain automation test plans and testing scripts for Android native mobile applications using Java/Kotlin
• Detect, report, and track software defects
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize test requirements
• Participate in code reviews to promote best practices and ensure high-quality software development
• Take an active part in influencing design, UX and product using your QA background to discuss and prioritize technical requirements
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in mobile apps automation using Java/Kotlin
• Strong working knowledge of mobile testing tools such as Espresso, Appium, Applitools, Genymotion or similar
• Experience with continuous integration tools (TeamCity, Jenkins or similar)
• Familiarity with build tools like Gradle or Maven
• Proven ability to build or significantly improve automation frameworks
• A proactive approach to problem-solving
• Interpersonal skills for team collaboration
• Knowledge of Android mobile architecture and development experience would be an advantage
