A QA Engineer with 2+ years experience in manual software testing:
B.A. or M.A. in computer science will be an advantage
Strong knowledge of client-server architecture
Experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver
Deep understanding of HTTP Protocol
Experience in reporting/delivering problems
Experience in different types of functional and non-functional testing
Security testing awareness
Your English, both written and oral, is at a very high level and you’re an independent worker who has the ability to switch tasks regularly without losing focus.
You know how to ask the right questions and push back when it’s needed. A Sherlock Holmes style problem solver, you’re good at taking ownership of complicated tasks and leading others in complicated projects. You’re self-motivated, self-taught and work well in teams as well as independently.
Bonus points if you are ISTQB Certified.
Constantly think like Wix users and do your best to make sure all positive and negative scenarios they could encounter are covered, both manually and automatically.
Develop automated tests for new exciting features and run them on production
Analyse live user flows to be used as a base for your self-composed test plans.
Take part in and lead hackathons and user onboarding events.
Take an active part in defining the design, UX & product requirements from a QA perspective.
Work to solve complicated support tickets using your web debugging skills.
Propose, convince and execute any activity you find that contributes to Wix’s success.
