Wix’s Data Infrastructure group. We drive Wix’s data engineering platform, one of the most extensive commercial data operations in the digital sphere. Each day we capture, process, analyze and serve more than 35 billion events generated by millions of people worldwide.
Our goal is to provide the platform for democratizing access, exploration and analysis of these massive amounts of data. We build the infrastructure and tools that enable the rest of Wix and its users to make data driven decisions, as well as build smarter data driven products.

We work closely with our customers in order to deliver first grade solutions to some of the most challenging problems in the big data landscape.

You are:

A highly motivated Senior Devops Engineer. You have 5+ years of experience leading end to end infrastructure projects in modern cloud environments. You’re an expert in Kubernetes as well as Terraform. You’re fluent in linux and have experience working with AWS.
You have excellent communication skills and you’re a self-learner who likes to drive change while having a keen interest in infrastructure and the big data ecosystem.

As a Senior Devops Engineer you will:

• Own and lead interesting projects end-to-end, working closely with other teams, PMs and even your users
• Work on existing and new projects using a modern stack: Terraform as part of infrastructure as a code approach, Kubernetes as runtime environment, Prometheus as main monitoring framework, AWS as the main cloud provider, etc.
• Support teams that rely on big data platforms such as : Presto/Trino, Apache Spark, Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Storm, Apache Hadoop, AWS EMR etc.
• Contribute to the open source community
• Invest time in your personal growth as part of the Infrastructure Guild at Wix, and contribute by being a mentor to others
• Have a big impact on Wix’s success as a company
