Payments by Wix — a fast-growing group dealing with all aspects of online payment processing and financial services for Wix users. Essentially, we make it possible for millions of Wix users to get paid on their website. We’re a customer obsessed group of experts from all disciplines and we possess vast knowledge and experience in fintech. One of our main focuses is our inhouse payment gateway, Wix Payments.

You are:

A professional with 1+ years of experience in leading a team of at least 3 developers. You can create a vision for your team and lead the people throughout its execution.

You’ve written production grade code and are allergic to unmaintainable code. You’re familiar with software engineering best practices (testing, code reviews, pair-programming, immutability, etc.) and are aware of bad practices and anti-patterns.

You’re passionate, intelligent, opinionated but also humble and respectful of other people’s opinions. You’re willing and able to mentor other engineers.

As a Server Team Lead, you will:

• Design and lead the development of risk and compliance components in our payment platform
• Work at least 80% as a hands-on developer
• Recruit top talent developers to our group
• Mentor and advise your team in code review, pair programming and more.
• Influence our engineering culture by interacting with different stakeholders across Wix
