We are:

Wix’s Business Analytics group. We’re 200+ analysts who strongly believe in using analytics to understand how our users interact with our product. With 200+ million users, we collect over a billion events a day — that’s 3TB of raw data added daily! We do it all using cutting-edge technology to store, process, and visualize our data, including tools we develop ourselves as well as tools like Presto, Tableau and Power BI.
We’re looking for a passionate Data Analyst to join our Data Science team.

You are:

A data, product or web analyst with high-level analytical and problem-solving skills and 4+ years of practical experience. You have a deep understanding of how online businesses work and what are the main approaches to analyze online customer behavior. You have excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. You always take initiative and drive projects from beginning to end with minimal guidance.
You have experience in working with Tableau, quantitative analysis and you’re fully proficient in SQL.
Bonus points if you have experience with Python and if you’re familiar with applications and basic principles of machine learning models.

As a Senior Data Analyst at the Data Science team, you will:

— See beyond numbers and take part in informing, influencing, supporting and executing Wix business decisions
— Work with very large amounts of data and build tools to streamline the process
— Communicate with various departments across Wix and do initial research on how the Data Science team can help them to overcome their challenges
— Translate ML and AI models results to business metrics and insights
— Mentor and educate team members (data curators)
— Research how users interact with model outputs
— Explore new features to improve models
