We are:

Wix’s Data Science team. Wix is a fast-growing data-driven company. We’re growing so fast that we’re collecting more data than we can monetize. Our Data Science group consists of ~50 people, of which there are 20+ data scientists, and others (engineering, curation and labeling) that help us make our projects successful and impactful for Wix. We apply SOTA Machine Learning techniques to Wix’s data to improve the product, internal processes and personalization for users, which in turn improves our profitability.

We’re looking for a talented Operations Manager to join our amazing, fast growing team in Kyiv.

You are:

A people-oriented Operations Manager with at least 2 years of administrative and project management experience. You’re not afraid of words like — Big Data, Machine Learning and Data Analysis. Keeping things organized is easy for you and handling multiple tasks at once is not a challenge. You pay attention to details and you’re great at taking a huge project and breaking it into prioritized tasks. You’re practical and business oriented, cooperative, and a team player who loves to help others. You’re able to support a cross-location and multi-cultural team. You also have excellent oral and written communication skills in Ukrainian, English and Russian.

As an Operations Manager, you will:

Help develop a dynamic and supportive work environment that enables Data Science Team to concentrate entirely on producing results.
Take part in the team’s strategic planning and execution — manage and distribute tasks and deadlines.
Serve as the driver of all activities planned by Data Science Team (initiation, discussion, implementation, analysis).
Plan and manage professional internal and external events like workshops, conferences, courses and training, including sponsorship and participation in key events in the market.
Plan and implement in-house\off-site team activities like team celebrations, happy hours, etc. for the Data team.
Work closely and collaboratively with local and global HR, IT, Operations, Finance, Legal, Community and other teams to align on objectives, ideas, various programs and tasks as well as improve the flow of the projects in preparation.
