Role Overview

As an AI Strategist, you’ll lead the definition and design of Agentic AI systems for financial institutions during our 4-week sprints. This is the highest-level role in the Agentic AI track. You’ll engage with senior stakeholders, define strategic AI roadmaps, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment between business value and technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structured discovery and framing workshops with C-level and senior stakeholders to identify AI opportunities
• Translate complex industry-specific needs (KYC, claims processing, risk modeling, etc.) into executable agentic use cases
• Design and validate AI sprint blueprints: agent workflows, orchestration logic, user flows, and architecture diagrams
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure aligned delivery of prototypes and POCs
• Develop strategic deliverables: ROI business cases, model risk assessments, architecture briefs, and KPI alignment decks
• Support model governance, compliance and audit readiness across sectors (finance, healthcare)
• Evangelize AI capabilities across Windmill’s delivery teams and mentor internal talent in GenAI strategy
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the Agentic AI Sprint methodology

Required Experience

• 5+ years in AI consulting, enterprise AI design, or product strategy.
• Fluent English (spoken & written); ability to speak with senior clients confidently.
• Proven experience leading executive-level workshops and Discovery sessions.
• Hands-on exposure to GenAI / LLM-based solutions (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, LangGraph).
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
• Strong ability to simplify complex problems into actionable strategiest

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of vector databases, RAG architectures, and prompt tuning techniques
• Experience creating governance frameworks or risk assessments for LLM-based solutions
• Experience with compliance-heavy AI systems and governance practices.
• Strong understanding of agent UX, explainability techniques, and AI security best practices
