We are looking for a System administrator for ensuring the efficiency of operations and security of our digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
— Maintain and optimize local company networks and company laptops
— Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software
— Assess system performance and recommend improvements
— Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines
— Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk
— Support with equipment technical comparison analysis
— Monitor the HW and SW market for usage, price, and quality requirements
— Assist Tech Director with developing of IT policies and practices
Requirements:
— Proven experience as an IT Operations Engineer or Support Engineer
— Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis
— Working knowledge of workstation administration (macOS, Win10, and Linux)
— Working understanding of OSI model and TCP/IP protocol stack
— Good knowledge of networks and network equipment (mikrotik, unifi)
— Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (e.g. GDPR)
— Good organizational and communication skills
— English: Intermediate+ (speaking and writing)
— Ability to manage multiple projects
— Soft Skills: can-do attitude, adaptability, honesty, taking ownership in what you do, open mind, and friendliness
It will be a plus:
— BSc/BA in Computer Science/IT (or relevant certificates)
