Python Developer, Crawler Team

At WikiBusiness we are developing a business search engine covering all digitally registered companies worldwide. WikiBusiness is developing a market disruptive technology that will enable business professionals to access trustworthy real-time information on companies anywhere in the world.

We are looking for a passionate Python Developer to help us design, implement and launch large-scale web and asynchronous applications both for internal and external use. This individual will be solving a wide variety of challenges around gathering, structuring and analyzing data and developing internal tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Excellent knowledges of Python 3+, coroutines, threads
• Good knowledges in algorithms and data structures
• Deep understanding of OOP
• Understanding of SOA
• Experience with crawling is a plus
• Experience with Asyncio/Tornado/Gevent/Twisted is a plus
• Experience with distributed storages — Mongo/ElasticSearch/Cassandra is a plus
• Upper-intermediate (and higher) English (working language)

• We have modern technologies and they are always on latest versions: Python 3.6.0, ElasticSearch 5.2.
• You will work ONLY with backend, because we have dedicated front-end developers team
• No need to support and tune infrastructure, this is job for our dedicated DevOps team
• Cooperating with really great DataScience team which help us build powerful algorithms
• No legacy code in the project
• And finally, there are no bureaucracy in processes and time tracking at the project

• Strong self-motivation, ability to deliver results under a limited supervision
• Ability to independently analyze a task and find a right solution
• Desire to work in a fast paced growing deadline driven start-up environment
• Ability to make decisions and be accountable for decisions and actions
• Fast-learning, proactivity and use new technologies
