We are seeking a talented and driven Senior AI Engineer to take charge of developing and implementing AI-powered document extraction tools. Your primary focus will be to build and optimize a sophisticated module capable of processing images of travel documents—such as passports, tickets, and hotel confirmations to accurately extract key data points. You will play a pivotal role in seamlessly integrating these capabilities into our client’s backend systems, ensuring smooth and scalable deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and fine-tuning of AI-driven document extraction systems utilizing OCR, NLP, and related technologies.
- Enhance the usability and performance of our Passport Photo tool to deliver an improved user experience.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to embed AI functionalities into existing platforms and workflows.
- Contribute to the mobile app development efforts where applicable, ensuring cohesive feature integration.
- Identify automation opportunities within internal processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in AI/ML, with a strong focus on document processing, OCR, NLP, or similar areas.
- Demonstrated ability to architect and deploy AI-driven services at scale.
- Proficiency in Python/Node.js and familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent.
- Experience deploying AI models into production environments.
- LLM experience.
- Knowledge of full-stack or backend development is a plus for ensuring smooth integration.
- Experience with mobile development for AI-powered features is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for identifying automation opportunities within tech environments.
