About the role:
As a Product PR Manager you will be owning the whole PR activity where you will be required to dive deep into the product itself and provide your own initiatives, throughout directly reporting to the CEO. The product is about the most popular fighting disciplines: Tekken, Street Fighter, Smash Bros, MK. The main goal of the product is to popularize and develop fighting disciplines in the global gaming community through our website and mobile applications.
We expect from you to:
— Own and manage PR functions;
— Plan, implement and manage public relations programs;
— Develop proactive media relations;
— Create and develop online press office;
— Organize and regular update of the media list;
— Create news and media releases as required;
— Deliver and track news and media releases through PR software;
— Prepare and timely responses to media inquiries;
— Do press clippings and reports according to established PR metrics;
— Design and review the online content in media announcements and media kits;
— Monitor corporate image frequently and ensure it is in compliance with company brand;
— Check and manage content produced for website and social media channels;
— Measure and provide reports on each PR campaign;
— Build long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders, such as tournament organizers, teams and players, esports media resources, etc.;
— Develop and implement media strategy, as needed;
— Collaborate within other departments, stakeholders when needed.
You are a fit if you have:
— 2+ years of experience in the PR field;
— Worked with products in EU or/and US markets;
— BSc/BA in PR, communications, journalism or similar relevant field;
— Proven track record of successful PR campaigns;
— Excellent spoken and written English;
— Ability to travel for business purposes;
— Outstanding organizational and time management skills;
— Ability to suggest solutions and ways forward when escalating questions;
— Ability to prioritize tasks and have excellent time management skills;
— Knowledge of the PR metrics;
— Experience of International Media Relations;
Would be a plus:
— Communication strategy knowledge is an advantage;
— Working with esports and IT-related media products;
— Background working in a cross-functional product team;
— Experience working with tight deadlines.
