WePlay! Esports is a esportainment company, a part of TECHIIA holding, that combines esports, storytelling and entertainment content. We want to surprise and entertain every esports fan and attract new ones. We have been organizing esports online tournaments and LAN finals for professional teams of tier-1, tier-2 levels since 2012. We broadcast for millions of viewers from our studio to Twitch channel and other streaming platforms. Also, we have developed our own WePlay! Esports online media and tournament platform.
About the role:
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to administer our English social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original texts, digital content, contests, managing posts, and communication with followers.
As the WePlay! Social Media Manager, we expect you to be up-do-date with the latest esports news, community trends, including in-depth knowledge of esports industry and gaming. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s voice.
Responsibilities:
— design and implement social media strategies to align with our goals;
— generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily;
— communicate with followers, respond and monitor community feedback;
— suggest and implement new activities and giveaways to develop brand awareness;
— collaborate with design, editorial, PR and marketing teams;
— stay up-to-date with current trends in social media and esports.
Requirements:
— ability to speak and write in English fluently;
— deep knowledge of the esports industry and gaming;
— excellent communication skills;
— exceptional writing and editing skills;
— ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video);
— proven work experience in public relations / communications / social media management;
— excellent knowledge of Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram, Facebook and other social media best practices;
— good understanding of social media KPIs.
