Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React, Python, AI)
About the client:
An AI platform transforming supply chain operations for multi-billion-dollar enterprise construction projects. The product suite includes AI agents for complex PDF specification parsing, contextual chat assistants, and an end-to-end spec-to-pay procurement engine tailored for data centers. The company is scaling fast to support rapid enterprise expansion.
Responsibilities:
Frontend (primary focus)
- Design and implement core frontend modules from scratch: dashboards, bid comparison, RFP/requirements pipeline, supplier and equipment management
- Build the document viewer: PDF rendering, annotations, highlight-to-source linking, so every AI answer stays traceable back to the page it came from
- Build the AI assistant interface: streaming responses, conversation context, inline citations, human-in-the-loop review flows
- Build complex, data-heavy interfaces that stay fast: virtualized tables, filtering and comparison across large sets of spec line items, progress and real-time states for long-running document processing
Backend and AI
- Build and improve the AI features behind those interfaces: extraction, comparison, and review support over construction project documents
- Develop the pipeline that ingests those documents and turns them into structured, connected data
- Design APIs and data models for a multi-tenant SaaS platform
- Keep the platform reliable: tests, code review, CI, containerised environments
- Work with the product team and construction professionals to turn their workflows into software
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering
- Deep React and TypeScript expertise, including component architecture and state management
- Experience building complex, data-heavy interfaces
- Strong Python skills with a modern async web framework
- Practical experience building LLM-based product features
- Experience with documents and unstructured data in a real product
- Data pipelines or workflow orchestration in production
- Daily use of agentic coding tools
- Comfortable deciding without waiting to be unblocked
- At least Intermediate English proficiency (both spoken and written)
Nice to Have:
- Domain background in construction, engineering, or another document-heavy regulated industry
