We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Level QA Engineer specializing in performance and load testing to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software quality assurance, with a focus on testing the performance and scalability of web applications and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, test cases, and scripts to uncover software defects related to performance bottlenecks, stability, and scalability issues.
• Utilize industry-standard performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling to simulate real-world scenarios and stress test web applications and APIs.
• Analyze performance test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, system architects, and project managers to understand system requirements and performance goals.
• Participate in the design and architecture discussions to ensure performance considerations are addressed from the outset.
• Work closely with development team to implement performance monitoring and profiling tools to continuously monitor and optimize system performance.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in performance testing and quality assurance

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing
• 3+ years experience in software quality assurance with a focus on performance and load testing
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, etc.
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, best practices, and techniques.
• Solid understanding of web technologies, protocols, and architectures (HTTP, REST, SOAP, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
