Wargaming is looking for an experienced Python Developer who has a broad outlook and would like to participate in the development of a game data handling system in the Platform department.

Services developed by the Wargaming Platform department ensure the global distribution and operation of all Wargaming studios and facilitate communication with our audience of over 200 million people.

What will you do?

• Develop architecture solutions for a platform and game data handling system
• Develop an automation system for contract-based widget creation
• Build distributed services
• Interact with teams of professionals from more than 100 services

What are we looking for?

• 4+ years of experience in Python development
• Deep knowledge of a popular web framework (Django, Flask, etc.)
• Good understanding and experience in working with asyncio
• Understanding of event-driven architecture
• Experience in working with RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Experience in working with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
• Scalable application design skills

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience in working with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) technologies
• Proficiency in deploying applications to a Linux environment Experience in containerization
• Experience in working with other languages (JS, Java, Elixir, or Rust) would be an advantage
• Understanding of the development cycle from requirement gathering to application deployment and monitoring
