Wargaming is looking for a talented Senior Console Programmer to help us build the next big free-to-play title from Wargaming, the company that brought us World of Tanks and one of the strongest free-to-play game companies in the world. — Work closely with the game team on development issues impacting consoles
— Write clear, maintainable, portable, and documented source code as well as technical and software design documents
— Report to Technical Director and follow development processes
— Communicate with management regarding status updates and risks, and work with department leads on ways to improve project quality and productivity on consoles
— 6+ years of relevant programming experience
— Excellent C++ knowledge and debugging/profiling skills
— Used AAA engine (UE3/UE4/Frostbite/etc.) on PS4/Xbox One or PS3/Xbox 360
— Hands-on experience with memory, CPU/GPU performance, and load-time optimization
— What additional skills will help you stand out?
— Experience with CryEngine or Amazon Lumberyard
— Familiarity with TRC/TCR/XR compliance testing
— Knowledge of low-level optimization, modern game graphics pipelines, and rendering APIs (DirectX 12, Vulkan)
— Shipped multi-platform multiplayer/networked 3D games
