Role Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing cross-functional projects and teams, with a particular focus on Internet of Things (IoT) projects. This role requires experience working with design and testing departments, strong stakeholder management skills, and proficiency in working with metrics and KPIs. The Project Manager will ensure the successful delivery of projects, from initiation through completion, while maintaining high standards of quality and communication.

Key Characteristics and Skills:
Cross-Functional Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing projects involving multiple departments such as design, development, and testing.
Ability to coordinate and collaborate with diverse teams to ensure project milestones are met.

Experience with Design and Testing Departments:
Strong background in collaborating with design teams to ensure project requirements are met and translated into effective design solutions.
Experience working with testing departments to develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies.

Stakeholder Management:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
Ability to gather and understand stakeholder requirements, manage expectations, and provide regular project updates.

Working with Metrics and KPIs:
Proficient in defining, tracking, and reporting on project metrics and KPIs to measure project performance and progress.
Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive project decisions and improvements.

Delivery Management:
Strong focus on delivery management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Experience with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) to adapt to project needs.
Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources.
Lead project kick-off meetings and ensure all team members understand project objectives and roles.

Team Coordination:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between design, development, and testing teams.

Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing project status updates and addressing any concerns.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Metrics and KPI Tracking:
Define and monitor project metrics and KPIs to assess project performance.
Prepare and present project reports, highlighting key metrics and progress.

Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and address risks throughout the project to minimize impact.

Quality Assurance:
Work closely with the testing department to develop and implement testing plans.
Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder requirements.

Project Delivery:
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Conduct project retrospectives to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Experience:
3+ years of experience in project management.
Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including design and testing departments.
Strong background in stakeholder management and communication. Tech skills are encouraged.

Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
