Hey, are you an experienced C++ developer?

Our team of 40+ people is looking for an experienced C++ colleague to join our R&D team. We are on the lookout for a software developer with a passion for solving difficult problems and curiosity to learn more about VOIP and real-time communication.

Here is a brief overview of your day-to-day tasks:

• You’ll be developing great real-time communications apps;
• You’ll be working within an awesome team to develop, integrate, and debug code for Windows, Linux, and macOS;
• You’ll also be doing code reviews for your partners in crime
• And yes, creating and maintaining software documentation is part of the duties
• Sometimes you may be researching and evaluating different approaches in order to follow the best practices
• You’ll be attending meetings and contributing to the decision-making process.

What experience we certainly need for you to join us:

• Data structures and algorithms;
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented design;
• Multi-threaded programming;
• C++17;
• Smart pointers, garbage collection;
• Networking knowledge, git.

It would be great if you have also played with or have some interest in:

• Basic VoIP
• SIP, RTP, WebRTC
• Audio, video codecs in general
• Inter-process communication;
• Boost, sockets, OpenSSL;
• CMake

We are the creators of the Zoiper softphone applications and SDK, ever since 2003. We also created Banafo recently — training our own speech recognition models and delivering them as a service.
