Junior QA engineer (SQL, DB testing) (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking QA engineer to join our DWH development team.
We hope to see you in our office two or three times a week
and for the rest of the time remote work is possible

Responsibilities:

● Analyze business requirements, technical design documents and bug trends and test-case gaps and improve test coverage;
● Execute tests, troubleshoot failures, review and reports on results, work with development groups to identify and resolve problems;
● Develop, implement and execute checklists/test cases;
● Troubleshoots customer reported bugs;
● Participate in technical communication within the team and to other groups associated with specified projects.

Required skills:

● 12+ months QA Experience;
● Knowledge of Testing concepts and methodologies;
● Complete understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and QA’s role in it;
● DB testing;
● Experience in preparing system test scripts and documenting defects/results;
● English — pre-intermediate level at least.

Nice to have:

● Knowledge of databases, analytics, reporting and SQL (complex joins, data models, data mapping);
● BI Tester, Microsoft BI, SQL, SSIS, Data Warehousing/BI, ETL Testing;
● Desirable Knowledge of ETL testing process and technology;
● Experience in reporting and managing bugs and test observations using tracking software.
● Work on multiple projects/tasks in parallel.
