Role description:

Viseven is looking for a talented QA Engineer to become a part of our R&D team. If you are open to professional challenges and searching for professional growth and recognition, we are waiting for you!

Key responsibilities:

  • Business requirements analysis
  • Test Effort Estimation
  • Writing and maintaining test documentation (checklist, test cases, manuals)
  • Manual testing of new functionality as well as regression testing before the releases
  • Describe and monitor defects in the bug tracking system
  • Work with strong cooperation with the RnD team
  • Reporting to QA Lead / Team Manager

Required skills and knowledge:

  • 1+ years of working experience in software quality assurance (WEB and/or mobile)
  • Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals (test types, test levels, test design techniques, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of the testing process
  • Understanding of SDLC and bug life cycle
  • Understanding of the client-server architecture
  • Experience in creating test documentation: test cases, checklists, bug reports
  • Understanding of SCRUM processes
  • Experience with bug tracking systems(preferable Jira)
  • Experience in using different testing tools (Postman, Chrome DevTools, etc.)

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with task management and tracking tools (preferably JIRA)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum)
  • Basic knowledge in HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, JavaScript
