Position Overview: VisaHQ is seeking a Junior Manual/Automation QA Tester to join our remote team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of enhancing travel experiences through innovative technology solutions. As a Junior QA Tester, you will play a key role in automating tests and ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the QA team to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Contribute to test planning, test case design, and execution of manual and automated tests.
• Participate in regression testing, performance testing, and other types of testing as needed.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test scripts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in automation testing, preferably in a web-based or mobile application environment.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or similar.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
