Power BI developer

Virtuace on behalf of our client — American insurance company is looking for a Power BI developer to join our team. Client is a global specialty provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance that has more than $110 billion USD in total assets along with $17 billion USD in net assets.

Responsibilities:

— Development and design of Power BI dashboards;
— Development and maintaining of BI applications;
— Analyze and clarify customer requirements;
— Strong team collaboration, participation at calls and team meetings.

Required skills:

— 3+y of experience with Power BI tool (data modelling, DAX, data visualization skills, architecture) and other BI tools;
— Strong knowledge of SQL, experience with RDBMS (preferably, MS SQL Server): stored procedures, functions, indexes, etc;
— Knowledge and experience with design and architecture of DWH, ETL, OLAP;
— Interest in data and data technologies.

Will be a plus:

— Experience with other BI tools (IBM Cognos BI, SSRS, SSAS and others).
