— Experience with a git based workflow using scrum / agile methods

— Experience with PostgreSQL, public/private key encryption, object stores (S3 API) a plus.

About the client

We are a young and innovative company specializing in flexible file transfer solutions for sophisticated business customers. Our solutions provide security and traceability and are already being used by a number of Swiss blue chip companies. We are located in attractive offices in the heart of Zurich.

As a company, we have ambitious expansion plans — we are in the process of launching a new self service file transfer product (comparable to WeTransfer) and improving our core product CargoServer substantially — also in the context of applications in connection with the blockchain technology.

Ideal profile

We are looking for an experienced full stack software engineer comfortable with Ruby on Rails, newest browser and JavaScript technologies who can build modular, scalable and API driven software.

Projects and technology

— Our core product is a web based application for file transfer using latest HTML5 technologies and mod-ern frameworks for mobile and desktop support, encryption and subscription based account manage-ment
— Our technology stack is based on a Ruby-On-Rails Backend with PostgreSQL/Redis and a modern JavaScript Backend with Vue.js
— We believe in simplicity and elegance to create attractive and responsive interfaces.
