Vidby is a Switzerland-based, multi-product IT company with an R&D center in Ukraine that specializes in technologies of understanding and the development of AI-powered translation solutions.
The company has coined the term “technologies of understanding” as part of its unique approach. Vidby is constantly developing an array of innovative solutions that help people communicate on a global scale. The product list already includes voice-to-voice video and document translation tools, as well as simultaneous translation solutions for offline and online meetings.
Vidby was the first in the world to receive the YouTube Recommended Vendor status for AI-powered content localization, became a Google Cloud Trusted Partner, and received Microsoft SaaS certification. In 2023, the number of Vidby users increased 18 times and reached 90 thousand. The company doubled in size and hired 48 new employees from Ukraine, Switzerland, the US, and Germany.
