We are looking for a seasoned Infrastructure and Operations Engineer who has hands-on experience with deploying applications, building networks, and managing services. We work within a fast paced environment where we provide critical infrastructure to our customers as a platform. The successful candidate will enjoy solving hard problems including keeping services up and performing migrations without impacting customers. We look for passionate developers who want to challenge themselves and own their solutions.

About you
— Communication — very clear and effective written communication in the English language, most of the work will be done on slack and GitHub.
— Self-Starter — the candidate does not wait for tasks to be assigned, but finds, communicates, reports, and fixes bugs on their own.
— Focused — the candidate must be able to understand scope flow and have the discipline to create follow up items after delivering functionality and keeping pull requests small
— Passionate — candidate should be passionate about technology and doing things the right way
Product — candidate understands that they are working on a product and follow through on thoroughness. They make sure the application they’re working on actually works instead of just focusing on the task at hand

Requirements:
— Good understanding of common web application architectures.
— Solid experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS is a priority).
— Working understanding of the programming languages, such as Python, Go, Ruby, or Java.
— Continuous Integration experience (Jenkins, CircleCi).
— Experience with PostgreSQL.
— Experience with IT Automation Tools (Ansible).
— Virtualization and Orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio).
— Previous experience building SaaS services would be a huge plus.
