Lead DevOps Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a seasoned Lead DevOps Engineer, who will oversee and drive the implementation of the product roadmap re Infrastructure, focus the team, have an overall responsibility for effectively delivering needed results and objectives to make sure Very Good Security can power every secure transaction in the world.
The ideal candidate will be a software engineer, with operational and networking experience, who enjoys breaking down complex problems into understandable solutions.

About you

— Communication — very clear and effective WRITTEN communication in the English language, most of the work will be done on slack and GitHub.
— Self-Starter — the candidate does not wait for tasks to be assigned, but finds, communicates, reports, and fixes bugs on their own.
— Focused — the candidate must be able to understand scope flow and have the discipline to create follow up items after delivering functionality and keeping pull requests small.
— Passionate — candidate should be passionate about technology and doing things the right way.
— Product — candidate understands that they are working on a product and follow through on thoroughness.
— They make sure the application they’re working on actually WORKS instead of just focusing on the task at hand.

Requirements

— Good understanding of common web application architectures.
— Experience with performing complex infrastructure migrations with zero downtime.
— Working knowledge of data replication across multiple data stores .
— Proven examples of building self-healing infrastructure, scaling applications, and automation.
— Solid experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS is a priority).
— Working understanding of the programming languages, such as Python, Go or Java.
— Continuous Integration experience (Jenkins, CircleCi).
— Experience with PostgreSQL.
— Experience with IT Automation Tools (Ansible).
— Virtualization and Orchestration experience (Vagrant, Docker, Kubernetes).
— Previous experience building SaaS platforms
— Experience leading remote teams.
