We are looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our Kyiv office or remote.

We are looking for a Ruby On Rails developer to join our R&D team in Kyiv. You will be responsible for developing a Web-scale SaaS product that enables us to revolutionize the transcription and translation industry. You will be involved in the design and implementation of low latency, high availability, and high-performance services, and work in a dynamic, agile environment with highly talented team members delivering content that is implemented in production environments very rapidly. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Responsibilities:

  • Write code from the scratch and integrate with the core company product — Platform
  • Automation of manual processes
  • Participate in the full life cycle of the product from concept to release
  • Fix problems in production and monitor your code
  • Collaborate with teams to understand the product vision and meet the requirements
  • Hands-on attitude, get into the technical details

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3-5 years of experience in software development
  • At least 2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails — a must
  • Fluent in Web technologies: html5/js, React is an advantage
  • Development of high scale cloud-based solutions (AWS)
  • Experience writing complex database queries
  • Great interpersonal skills and team player
