We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our KYIV office. In this role you will own company AWS infrastructure, will support developers regarding AWS, infrastructure, scalability, observability, logging, metrics and security. You will be involved in troubleshooting issues and developing automation SW tools, reducing manual work.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain highly reliable services running across public cloud infrastructure
• Provide solutions for observability on our production deployment (including monitoring, logging) to other engineers
• Design and implement solutions for CI/CD, including simulating new code to test potential improvements or issues
• Drive other teams to meet security, scalability, availability and cost reduction targets

The Ideal Candidate should have:

• At least 2-3 years of engineering experience
• Good software engineering skills with hands-on experience of running software in production
• Experience with Docker / ECS / Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience with modern service-based CI/CD solutions like CircleCI or Gitlab
• Experience with monitoring solutions like CloudWatch or Prometheus is an advantage.
• Experience with serverless solutions — an advantage
• Experience with Python — an advantage
• Experience with Terraform — an advantage
• An excellent collaborator with great communication skills, who can take part in a diverse cross-functional team

Will be a plus:

• Is thrilled when they solve complex engineering and architecture problems
• Enjoys solving infrastructure problems, like scaling our AI workers cluster to support increasing workloads
• Is driven by the desire to make a big impact
• Enjoys an enabling role, supporting the team’s velocity and practices

Our stack:

• multi-region AWS infrastructure
• AWS ECS as a container orchestrator (we have K8S in our backlog)
• Infrastructure-as-a-Code with Terraform
• A bit of configuration management with Ansible
• Monitoring stack: Prometheus, Grafana, OpsGenie
• Logging with EFK (Elasticsearch, Filebeat, Kibana)
• Build / deploy software with CircleCI
• Application language: Ruby on Rails, Python, using PostgreSQL, Redis
