Verba is looking for a talented software engineer to join our iOS team.

Technology

The core tech stack we expect a candidate to be experienced with is:

• The iOS app is written in Swift, with the UI primarily built using SwiftUI. For particularly challenging views we leverage UIKit.
• The architecture is based on the Composable Architecture (TCA) and we make extensive use of Swift Concurrency.
• The heavy lifting of video editing is handled using lower-level APIs such as CoreGraphics and AVFoundation.
• We employ XCTest for testing.

While knowledge of relevant iOS frameworks is essential, we value an understanding of video editing concepts and basic mathematics, such as linear algebra. More importantly, we appreciate the ability to learn new domains on demand, continuously evolve skills, and share valuable insights with the team.
