Bookmap is a high-performance market data visualization & trading platform. It is used for trading futures, stocks and digital- cryptocurrencies at CME, Eurex, Nasdaq, GDAX and many other exchanges.

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for testing our cross-platform desktop application (Windows, macOS, Linux) and occasionally supporting testing efforts for our web-based applications.

Required skills

• 2+ year professional experience as a QA Engineer;
• experience in testing desktop applications;
• experience in working with testing documentation;
• strong knowledge of software QA methodologies;
• excellent knowledge of bug life cycle;
• solid understanding of software development methodologies;
• excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills;
• Intermediate English;

Will be a plus

Experience in trading platforms for futures, stocks, crypto exchanges.

Responsibilities

• test execution and bug reporting;
• develop test plan and test coverage;
• analysis and diagnosis of regular system regression tests;
• provide clear and accurate reporting on testing progress and results;
• execute test cases (manual);
• analysis of requirements;
• required testing time estimation;
• cooperate with development and integration teams to follow up bug resolution.

Test task

As part of the process there is a test task, if you find and document at least 3 bugs you will get a $50 reward. Keep in mind that there are more in this version, so the goal is to find as many as possible.

As a part of the hiring process, we would appreciate it if you can solve the test task. It is expected to take 90 min.
