We invite a Team Lead Node.js to join the VeliPlay product team.

Housed within the innovative umbrella of VeliTech, VeliPlay is our dedicated game development studio specializing in crafting exceptional crash games and more. We’re committed to delivering cutting-edge games that engage players with outstanding mechanics and envelop them in rich, immersive narratives.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend services using NestJs.
• Engage in SRE practices, error resolution, and continuous improvement efforts within the team.
• Drive code quality, maintainability, and performance through clean, efficient, and scalable coding practices.
• Participate in technical decision-making, providing insights and recommendations.
• Seamlessly integrate our games with third-party iGaming platforms, ensuring a smooth and cohesive player experience
• Develop and maintain a high-performance and resilient game engine for crash games, ensuring scalability to meet growing demands

Skills and experience you will need:

• Understanding of design patterns and clean architecture
• Experience with AWS (ECS, Fargate, lambda, Serverless)
• Experience in working with: Docker, Gitlab CI, Redis
• Experience with relational database design (mostly PostgreSQL)
• Experience in system design
• Upper-Intermediate English level
• Proficiency in building, documenting, and consuming RESTful APIs
• Good understanding of backend security practices (e.g., JWT, OAuth, data encryption)
• Solid knowledge of event-driven architectures and experience with event sourcing or message queue systems
• Ability to lead, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to other engineers

Will be a plus:

• Experience in the iGaming/Fintech industry or a related field.
• Familiarity with ELK stack + Grafana
• Understanding of basic infrastructure and DevOps processes
• Experience with managing team
