ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Customer Location: Norway
Project Stack: .Net 6, Angluar 13, Dapper, MS SQL, Telerik reporting, ASP.NET Core Web Api

Solution developed is a Web based application designed for registering and monitoring the personnel involved into the offshore construction projects. Application has to provide the actual real time overview of the personnel whereabouts, which is of a vital importance for marine operations. The system includes several different modules and is configured individually for each construction project.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Provide full-cycle project management from business idea to successful delivery, including
• Participation in the pre-sales process and discussion with the Clients on building optimal
  solution/offer that would meet both Client and Vector interests
• Define project requirements and deliverables, resource requirements and plan, manage their execution, monitoring and adjustments
• Coordinate team ramp-up and onboarding (from recruitment and forming teams to process establishment and stabilization)
• Manage, monitor and motivate the team assigned to the project (set goals, conduct performance
  reviews)
• Establish best practices (tools, processes, people management) together with Vector Competency Offices, ensure projects meet industry-leading quality standards
• On-demand provide consulting/coaching/training for project team members (e.g. project coordinators, team leads, scrum masters, etc.)
• Manage risks, anticipate problems before they arise, and work with appropriate personnel to develop solutions
• Managing and monitoring of GM
• Create and track accurate cost estimates
• Report project progress/status on a regular basis to the client, internal management
• Regularly monitor and continuously improve Clients’ satisfaction

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG:

• Technical background (previous work experience as QA or Developer)
• 4+ years of experience working as PC/ PM in IT outsourcing companies
• Deep understanding and practical experience with Agile approaches (Scrum, Kanban) as well as Waterfall
• Ability to perform project manager's activities and provide supervision during Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Closing phases
• Experience in managing multiple agile teams in projects of 25+ FTE
• Extensive people management experience (hiring, onboarding, motivation, retention, conflict solving, firing)
• Ability to build and keep team(s) collaboration on a good level
• Strong service/ client-oriented attitude, focus on an outcome
• Solid understanding of change and expectations management
• A proven track record of successful project implementation in a software development environment
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Problem solving attitude using system-thinking approaches
• Ability to manage contractual terms and financial issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Upper intermediate level of spoken and written English

DESIRABLE:

• Experience in managing multiple distributed teams
• Product Management background
• Knowledge of the latest trends at SW development technologies and tools
• Experience in creating and running trainings, workshops, other educational activities
• Agile and/or PMI certification
• Experience with SAFe or LeSS
• Experience in coaching, mentoring and conducting of trainings
